White Pine:

White Pine trees grow wild across many parts of eastern North America and make excellent Christmas Trees. These pines have long 2-5 inch needles that are a dark green in color. The needles and branches are soft and White Pine usually have a full, thick look. As a general rule of thumb as a Christmas Tree, White Pine will last indoors 4 weeks or more if kept watered. (Available as a live B&B tree as well).

Scotch Pine:

Also in the pine family is the Scotch Pine. These are a sturdier cousin to the White Pine. Scotch Pine needles are not as long as a White Pine, 1-3 inches in length. Scotch Pine are perfect for those who like a shorter needle tree, but still want the lasting power of a pine for a cut Christmas Tree. If kept watered, the Scotch Pine will last 3 to 4 weeks indoors.

Austrian Pine:

The last pine we offer is the Austrian Pine. The Austrian Pine is similar to a white pine in needle length, 3-5 inches, but is a much sturdier tree. Austrian Pines offer sturdy branches that are spaced further apart for heavy ornaments and will last 3 to 4 weeks indoors if kept watered.

Blue Spruce:

The Blue Spruce is a very popular Christmas Tree due to its blue to blue/green appearance. Blue Spruce have 1 to 1.5 inch needles and branches that are sturdy. Blue Spruce needles are sharp and perfect for homes with nosy pets. If planted outdoors, the sharp needles also deter deer from grazing on your trees. If kept watered a Blue Spruce will last between 3 to 4 weeks indoors. (Available as a live B&B tree as well).

White Spruce:

Also in the spruce family is the White Spruce. White Spruce have shorter needles, less than an inch that are a grey/green color. White Spruce branches are fairly sturdy and are a popular Christmas Tree for those who do not want very sharp needles, but still like spruce. If kept watered the trees will last 2 to 3 weeks indoors. (Available as a live B&B tree as well).

Norway Spruce:

The Norway Spruce is the shortest needled spruce tree we offer. This spruce has .5 inch needles that are dark green in color. If kept watered, Norway Spruce will last 7 to 10 days indoors. (Available as a live B&B tree as well).

Frasier Fir:

One of the two varieties of fir trees we offer is the Frasier Fir. Frasier Fir are a soft needle tree with medium sized, 1 to 1.5 inch needles. Frasier Fir trees make wonderful Christmas Trees because of thier 2-tone blue/green needles and great citrus fragrance. The branches are softer than a spruce, but sturdier than a pine. Shake or crush some Frasier needles and you'll be able to smell how wonderful these trees are. If you keep them watered, Frasier Fir will last 3 to 4 weeks indoors. (Available as a live B&B tree as well).

Douglas Fir:

Douglas Fir also make great Christmas Trees because of their soft feel and great smell. Douglas needles are longer than Frasier, about 1 to 2 inches in length. The branches are softer than a spruce, but sturdier than a pine. They are a nice green color and last just as long indoors. Douglas Fir are fuller than Frasier and will last 3 to 4 weeks indoors. (Available as a live B&B tree as well).
